Candle Care
How To Get The Most Out Of Your Candle
- The first burn is the most important. Burn your candle for 2-3 hours each time you light it, but not for over 4 hours. Only burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
- Make sure your wick is trimmed to ¼” prior to lighting and burn your candle until the first layer is completely melted to the edge of your candle. Doing this will help prevent tunneling, which shortens the life of your candle.
- Before each new burn, trim your wick to ¼” to ensure a clean, even burn. This will also prevent your candle from smoking and your wick from mushrooming.
- Discontinue use of the candle once the wax has burned down to ½ of an inch. This will keep your glass from shattering or damaging surfaces.
- Do not touch or move the candle until it has completely cooled.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while sleeping & keep away from drafts or other flammable items. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Vessels can be reused after burning. Clean out remaining wax with warm water and dish soap, then wipe clean with a paper towel.
Wax Melts Care
- Use a wax warmer that is solely designed for wax melts. Place your wax warmer away from drafts and anything flammable.
- Only burn for 2-3 hours at a time. Never add water.
- Do not use wax warmer while sleeping. Do not leave unattended. Keep wax warmer out of reach of children and pets.
